It have been filmed in south Africa at toitskloof pass where Jean Yves already has filmed a video.
this new one has been shot in December, produced by Marken Film Berlin and directed by Sebastien, Director of Photography is Poncho Alcaine.
thanks Sebastien Grousset for his kindness and his vision, thanks Pierre Boehmann and Ulrika Akerlind from production for efficient work. Thanks every one of the team for good work.
Thanks Jodi Ehrlich for best partnership.
The concept is: Three friends sharing their passion and challenging each other like brotherhood.
1 Niall McShea world class rally champion is pushing the yeti car to the boundaries of driving on and off road .
2 Jean Yves Blondeau AKA Rollerman with his BUGGY ROLLIN wheel suit is interacting with the car while running downhill on a twisted mountain road .
3 Thomas Genon world class mountain bike champion is challenging the car throw a bamboo forest .
We love the idea of sharing emotion with friends compared as brothers using different kind of sports.
Assistant director Queenie, Director Jem Chen, Director Of Photography Dylan Doyle preparing the shooting. Dylan is explaining his camera and optic choice. There is a 'Rollerman' sticker on his computer !
Jem Chen, the director who successfully raced formula cars in Asia, used his passion and skills for motor sport in order to fuel enjoyment of this film by expressing his deep feelings of speed, mechanics, and extreme sports. He made emotional enhancement choice by using black and white pictures only coloured with blood red. It matches as well as extreme oriental aesthetic of black and red with the traditional chinese painting made of black ink and red sign, and also the passionate romantic writer Stendhal with his novel "the black and the red".
Dylan Doyle, the director of photography, showed extreme efficiency in choosing the best frame for each action. It is also possible to feel his love for Asian light atmosphere between nature and technology.
Nobody would guess how skillful the flying camera of H.I.S is. Passing drone between trees, cables, and cliff, no matter the wind, always the action in the frame.

Even if stunt action had to be precisely prepared we shared good mood and enthousiasm. We are thankfull to Niall McShea for his Professionalism.
The magic team of micro camera specialists could rig camera in every intresting corner that produced such a big variety of detailled shots.
We as BUGGY ROLLIN creator, pilot, designer, and dream makers, love this short film. This is going to be inspirational. link to movie
