The Beijing team of Micro Skate invited Jean Yves Blondeau to perform on kids event at Xi An 2015.
On the margin of the event, Jean Yves had the opportunity to visit the terra-cotta warriors. More interesting was to try to go on the mountain roads. Jean Yves found a street on google map that was not connected to the road network at the foot of the mountain. This place was very interesting to roll in BUGGY ROLLIN.
Before going to Xichang 2015, Kelvin from SEBA Shanghai told Jean Yves Blondeau that the food is delicious and the girls are nice. Could not believe it.
Once arrived in Xichang, it was a surprise to see so many nice woman in the street. This place is 20 – 25 degree all the year. Every thing grows up. So the food has a lot of variety. the Xichang food if it is not too spicy si healthy and fresh.
Xichang is surrounded with hills and mountains, and it has a nice lake. This place became Jean Yves Blondeau’s favorite place in china
Unfortunately we lost a lot of data in several computer crash. But people contacted in Xichang stays good friend over the years. And when rollerman comes back in Xichang he will surely make more videos . The warm welcome of Xichang people stays in heart. It was a revelation that friends are like stars in the sky that makes constellation and galaxy in which you live. that thing is the only wealth.
With kindness a family bring jean Yves to a closed temple road on the hill. Sunny could find the solution to pass the gates of police by inviting local TV station, and then rent moto taxi. You can see all the family on the bikes that lift us up.
BUGGY SKI came to Montalbert festigliss 2018. Montalbert is a ski resort belonging to La Plagne Paradiski in France. The resort is opened to alternative snow sport in opposition to many places where it i only allowed to ski and snowboard. For opening mind of different ways to slide on snow, Montalbert organises a festival named Festigliss. Brands come to Montalbert festigliss to make try their creative products to the public for free.
Since several years Jean Yves Blondeau and his BUGGY SKI are invited to Montalbert festigliss. Sometimes Jean Yves brings his own photograph. Sometimes it is with the official media team of La Plagne. But this time, it was with local photographer team Nel of TRIBU RIDER PHOTO. The first show of Rollerman at Shanghai April 2016, was very early morning at Shanghai stadium, for the venue of important chinese politics persons. Jean Yves Blondeau made show with children under the rain. He had to repeat the show again and again until the VIP went away.
Ashlyn is always here to help and organise. Her kindness, availability and patience are invaluable qualities.
It was the day to meet Seven. She is a nice shanghai skater who cares very well about the kids at the skate club. She is also model.
Directly after the show, Rolerman flew to another city in order to perform another show on another event on the same day !
that was cool insane.
The flight was very delayed because of heavy rain. So we arrived very late on the second event. Luckily it was not finished. Jean Yves came just in time to perform the last show. It was raining a lot. The red carpet on the stage was like a swimming pool.
After the show, the public came to a table for signatures of Rollerman. They were very nice, and it was very well organized. Thanks SeBa skates team, Xiao Qin Ashlyn and Freezy, and the other ones.
It was very nice to meet Xiao Qin again. And then to go on Shaolin mountain, and make the downhill with BUGGY ROLLIN from the south side of mountain.
Freezy was asking from years to try the BUGGY ROLLIN suit. Finally he could do it withRollerman at Shanghai April 2016. That is when he decided to buy his own suit.
Barbak, the french legend of street luge invited jean yves blondeau aka Rollerman at Saint Pancrash to go freeride on a closed road.
the road is situated on the mountains of chartreuse near Grenoble. The top of the road was under repair, the traffic could not go through. So after working hours, there were no cars at all. That made a nice closed road.
Even if the floor has not a perfect surface, the declivity and the profile of the curve made it a nice experience. as soon as the clouds start to pour some drops on the surfaces it became slippery as soap. That is why on a run we get to hit each other.
We had also another french ultra legend luger “fragl” who could design a very fancy go pro stick. He hope to get GOPRO sponsorship for his smart green eco friendly stick design. More seriously Fragl is a master in drawing extreme speed lines on the surface of road with his luge. He goes to caress the grass on both side of the road with his shoulders in order to keep the fastest trajectory possible. He is a giant pilot and very friendly guy.
Sigulda 2016 is another edition of the race in bob track named Beton On Fire. Bob track Sigulda is situated north of Riga on the side of a valley carved by a river . On the slope of the valley is built a Bob Track which find almost enough hight to feel like on mountain. The missed last 20 meter of altitude are made by concrete construction. This makes the unique Bob track in the world that start aerial.
As we arrived in the village, we knew that the weather was going to be bad for the day of the race. That is really bad luck. Because then nobody will come to see the show. That’s the reason why Jean Yves Blondeau urged to make all camera run with BUGGY ROLLIN suit on friday. So now, yo can enjoy the multi view video and nice lighted pictures of the end of the day at the tower start of Sigulda Bob Track.
For Sigulda 2016 none of the other BUGGY ROLLIN team members could come to the race. So Jean Yves was racing against himself one more time. Even he took the fastest wheels he had, made the best time of all athletes there, his time was not recognized to be used in the final race against the bike.
Besides, we like this multi view video. We would advise you to watch it several time to catch every thing about the track.
Press 2015 ; BVR bank advertising made in south Africa featuring Rollerman Jean Yves Blondeau.
The shooting of the BVR Bank advertising took part in Toitskloof pass near Cape town in South Africa. One more time choosing the road was a fight for good floor quality. We know this road because we already made video for buggy rollin at this place. But the surface was very poor, and made a lot of vibration.
In the mind of the nice director, all the pictures were like jet plane views with the noise and travellings. We could shoot in only one day. And came back home without injury.
2015 Jean Yves made 2 advertising , first was Skoda in China second was BVR bank for Germany.
Funkshau ordered a picture of ROLLERMAN wearing grey titan suit for the cover of their magazine. The picture was made by Christophe Lebedinsky in studio le fauteuil in Paris with Jean Yves Blondeau. By the way the pictures of Kiki laebedinsky are excellent.
Press 2015 : Ski Board Magazin featured Jean Yves Blondeau and BUGGY Ski in one magazine. The reporters were passing at la plagne to meet Jean Yves blondeau wearing BUGGY SKI suit.
Rollerman advertises Skoda in China.
Jean Yves Blondeau made an advertising of VolksWagen group Skoda in China as main actor. The concept is crossing over disciplines. A rally car driver, a super mountain bike pilot and Jean Yves Blondeau as Rollerman in black tiger and dragon BUGGY ROLLIN wheel suit are racing down a mountain. They are not only racing but playing interact and build complicity together through their own way of expression. For example Rollerman is holding the hand of the driver of the car to get speed. Rollerman is pushing the bonnet of the car to set the pace. Together with the car they draw trajectory line on the road that looks like a dialogue between two characters.
The advertising won a price of best commercial film in china for 2015.
Rollerman at La Bouille for French downhill championship. There was longboard butt board and luge. The village became the french capital of downhill for a week end. Jean Yves Blondeau, went there with several BUGGY ROLLIN suit, some BUGGY ROLLIN T-shirts and caps to hold a booth in order to promote BUGGY ROLLIN sport . He also made the downhill run of the race. It was a good place to take time to speak with people and to try the BUGGY ROLLIN suits.
Jean yves Blondeau took time to visit his friend Xiao Qing . So Rollerman at Qin Huang Dao happened. Jean yves was warmly welcomed by local skate shop owner. He made show at the club meeting on the central square of Quin Huan Dao, and met the local TV for interview helped by Xiao Qing. He tried to go on mountain for downhill but the weather was not good enough ride. we could see some real size transformer. China is the country in the world which has the most numerous real size metal transformer characters in the street. There were also a strange castle and artistic view of Tintin rocket. We hope to come back soon.
